Which celebrities take NMN and Resveratrol?

Date

Resveratrol was first isolated in the 1940s, but it only really came to the attention of researchers in 1992, when its presence in wine explained its cardio-protective qualities. Resveratrols (3,4′,5 -trihydroxy-stilbene) are polyphenolic phytoalexins produced by the enzyme stilbene synthase, biosynthesized by grapevines to defend themselves against Botrytis cinerea infections.

Nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) is a precursor of NAD+. Once taken orally, NMN is rapidly absorbed and converted into NAD+, a coenzyme naturally present in all living cells. It is needed for energy production at the cellular level, especially in the central nervous system in the brain. The more NAD+ a cell has available, the more energy it can produce and the more efficiently it can carry out its role.

Elixir of the models

Two of the world’s most popular supermodels, Kendall Jenner and Hailey Bieber, revealed on a popular reality show that they take NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide adenine dinucleotide) supplements intravenously. “These injections calm me down and make me feel happy,” said Jenner, who said the treatment has helped her get through her Covid-19 period very easily. In 2019, Hailey’s husband, the famous Canadian singer Justin Bieber, also started taking these supplements to detoxify the body and activate the happiness center in the brain. [2]

Rihanna and Madonna are two other stars who use these supplements. [3]

Adele is said to have lost 50 pounds using a diet rich in sirtuins, a family of molecules related to NAD+ that activate the same mechanisms as NMN and resveratrol. [4]

Part of Joe Rogan’s diet

Joe Rogan, a well-known podcast host and stand up comedian from the United States, is an advocate of a dynamic and healthy lifestyle. He launched himself in the 1990s with the sitcom “News Radio”, then in 2015 launched the podcast “The Joe Rogan Experience”, which has 11 million listeners.
